Tuning Section Empty
PostSubject: Tuning Section   Tuning Section EmptyWed Mar 14, 2012 10:25 am

So I just made a post in the "Want to Buy" thread looking for a tuner.

I think it'd be nice if we could have a section specifically designated to tuning.
Idk if there should be one just for tuners to advertise themselves, and then one for tuning advice like DIY stuff, but I think some kind of subsection dedicated to all "tuning" related posts would be nice and helpful!

Just my 2 cents Cool

We have a few local tuners, including but not limited to;

Blundar (Dave Blundell), been tuning for probably close to if not more than a decade, extremely hands on, been there for probably 30 or more of his dyno sessions, he is extremely willing to help, answer questions, and show you why this does that, etc. Great atmosphere, good guy. Tunes everything from n/a honduhs to 700whp RB26's, mustangs, anything basically. Can usually be found lurking in the garage of TPR, or Easy Street customs in Milford.

Rick Williams; Not so big into the tuning scene these days, but a predominant honda tuner, worked at raceline, and has tuned some nice cars that ran really well. Not much experience with this guy, but a very adequate/knowledgeable tuner from what I've heard.

Daniel Goodrich (DK Goodrich); Dont know much about this feller but I have heard good things, and he does a lot of local tuning as well.

From what I remember, the going rate around here is around $140-$160ish per hour for tuning, depending on who you talk to and who you go with.

Hope that helps a bit
