For those wanting to do something unique I recommend this. I sent in my radiator cover off my Mustang to 3D Liquid and just got it back today. I think it turned out great. You can get all kinds of stuff off your vehicle done. Once it stops raining I'll install it and take more pics. Here's how mine turned out:

I have to say that looks like a collosal waste of money. How much did that cost you?
To each their own though, so if you like it, cool.

^I heartily disagree, I think it'll add a nice touch to your engine bay, though I'm really not a fan of the skull motif. Hell, now I'm thinking of all the goofy shit I could have them paint, depending on how they are price-wise. Gas door, instrument bezels, hell - I saw a rifle in their hunting gallery, wonder what they'd charge to do my AK...

It actually didn't cost me anything. I entered a contest and won it. All I had to pay was shipping. I'm considering doing other parts though out of my own pocket.

I didn't even take it that way. I understand that not everyone will like it.

it probably took all of 5 min. google hydrodipping. its like a film placed on top of a tub of water. then activator applied to the film, then lower item through film and your done.

fwiw im doing engine bay parts for the V with a carbon fiber look. and its not nearly as expensive as real CF
