| Hey guys Im turning sixteen and i really want a 2007 civic si. And i appreciate some of your guys thoughts and if there are any problems that i should worry about with a civic with over 100k miles. | |

| Alright thanks, also I heard the k20's transmissons are alittle more fragile I guess you could say. I was just wondering if that's true. | |

| true for the 06-07's, 08's don't seem to have as many issues and they had the 3rd gear popout pretty well resolved 09-11. The big issues were a 3rd gear popout, and 2nd gear lockout at high rpm. Most ppl are able to resolve or better those issues with a new clutch master cylinder and changing the trans fluid. | |

| Yea I understand, but my parents are making me get a four door that's not to old and I love Honda so that's why I was thinking a civ, but do you have any other suggestions on a jdm four door that I can obtain ? | |

| If I had to buy my kid a first car this year (assuming he is into the same car I am) I would go for 96-2000 integra, civic, accord sedan. It would be safe, 4 door is lower on the insurance and I would only have to come out of pocket a couple thousand. | |
