Pixel Cars

Hey folks, I've had a few people wondering about mine and Jmoney's signatures. Here's the sheet I started with:


If you see your car in there and want me to customize it, just let me know. They're a bit stylized but usually I can stretch em back out and they don't look retarded. And they're super easy to work on, don't use too many colors or anything.
Course, it's not a very comprehensive list [3 Ludes and no EGs?!]. Feel free to google "pixel cars" or "pixel hondas" or whatever til you find your car, send it to me and I'll see what I can do. I'm a huge fan of low-res stuff.

Likewise... Anything in paint, really. Teach them to give me a computer with no games on it at work

No sir, I've been using Paintbrush since Windows 3.1 and I don't intend to change anytime soon
Just zoom in and mess around with em, it's pretty fun

I actually have a bit of work to do this afternoon, but it should go fast. Consider it in the works my man. Found your intro thread on crxcommunity [stalker!] so I've got a really good picture of your front and lip which wheels do you want on it, 17s or steelies or something completely different?

some 99-00 si wheels? cause thats what im trying to get atm.

Whew. Stretched the Si, debadged it, put on steelies, changed seats, added side trim, reworked the front and rear bumpers... Busy day

Modifying's much easier, I should prolly get some actual work done before 4 but I'll finish it up either tonight or tomorrow

Looked cleaner without a plate on the front, so I left it that way. Also, Si wheels are 7-spoke and hard as shit to make. You get 8 spokes. That's 1 better.

Antman, just copy the picture and paste into Paint program on your computer.

^This. Then zoom way the hell in. Color changes are pretty simple, just find the lightest color on the car, fill it in with the color you want to change to, then click the "edit colors" button [or double-click the color in the palette if you're on XP or older] and make it a tad darker for each darker layer. That's about it. You'll copy and paste a lot, if you're anything like me. No need to draw both sides of a car if it's symmetrical, be lazy. And my worksheets are way bigger than the end product, I save each iteration to make sure I like my changes. OCD is a plus

Mainly, do what you want, how you want, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you get stuck.

I'm drawing from scratch using blueprints of a '91 VTi [I guess it was a mid-year?]. Got a lot of shading to do, not to mention the front and back views, but I'm excited with how well this has turned out so far. I'll have EGs to play with soon!

Do they have one for 92 Integra GS-R?
